Strategy

Strategy is more than just words on a page; it's the sum of every decision and every action taken by every member of your organisation, every day. When strategic alignment is achived, everyone strives toward the same goal, and the momentum that's created - wow! It's powerful!
I work with organisations to define their compelling strategic direction, communicate it clearly, and bring it to life through effective execution. Through interactive workshops and collaborative design, we simplify complexity, build alignment, and help everyone to connect their work to the bigger picture, driving real-world impact.

Mediation

Conflict is inevitable in any organisation, but escalation is not. When working relationships break down, performance, wellbeing and culture suffer. Mediation offers a constructive path forward.
I provide a calm, neutral space for people to surface issues, listen, and rebuild trust. Through a structured process, participants are guided toward mutual understanding and practical agreements, not imposed solutions.
Workplace mediation is especially valuable when:
  • Communication has broken down
  • Teams are working in tension or silence
  • Conflict is undermining collaboration
Handled early, mediation can prevent escalation, reduce stress, and refocus teams on what matters most. It's a human-centred approach to resolving conflict - one conversation at a time.

Expert facilitation

Some conversations are too important to leave to chance. Whether the stakes are high, the group is diverse, or the path forward is unclear, expert facilitation can unlock clarity, connection and momentum.
I design and lead sessions that bring the right people together and guide them through the conversations that mater most.
Independent facilitation is especially valuable when:
  • Stakeholders need to co-create solutions to complex challenges
  • Cross-functional teams are navigating change or tension
  • Groups need to reflect, reset, or re-energise
  • Boards or Advisory Groups need to make high-impact decisions
With a calm, clear presence and a focus on both process and outcomes, I help groups listen deeply, work through complexity, and move forward with shared purpose. When people feel heard and decisions are made with integrity, the energy in the room is palpable.

How might a structured conversation move your organisation forward faster?

A word from my clients:

Managing Director
'Inclusive, engaging, thoughtful ... Just keep doing what you are doing. Excellent. No suggestions for improvement which is really rare for me to say!'

Senior Manager
'I think you're brilliant, and I've told [the CEO] as much many times. I think you're going to be a game changer for us. I love what you're doing.'

General Manager
'You know, we always encourage frank and fearless conversations, but we know that nobody ever does it. But with Jess, at the Strategy Day, we really did debate things rigorously.'
Chief Financial Officer
'It's a great process you've run. It's hard to build consensus with a big group like this. I liked the way you stepped us through the pre-work and the logic. And then to land on a strategy like this, it's impressive.'

General Manager
'In my very long tenure, I've been a part of many many Board Strategy Days. But this time, I left very energised! To walk away knowing everyone was aligned and committed was very powerful.'

Chief Operating Officer
'I just wanted to reach out and say thanks again for your facilitation of the [organisation's] strategy day, I thought you did a great job with the team in teasing out a positive future direction for us.'

Project Director
'In the various interactions I have had with Jess to date I have been impressed with all aspects of the services provided and, in particular, with Jess herself. Her approach to preparation, facilitation and follow-up is truly collaborative (at a time when that concept is both much over-used and misunderstood) helping our organisation shift to a more effective approach to strategy development and stakeholder relationships, which is already starting to see positive results.'
I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong Peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which I live and work.
I pay my respects to First Nations elders, past and present, and acknowledge Indigenous people's ongoing relationship to lands and waterways.
